Before there was Pawevie, there was Evie.
I have always loved buying clothes for my dog, Evie. Sometimes it was about finding an extra layer for a chilly walk. Sometimes it was a practical choice for rainy days. And sometimes, I simply saw something lovely and imagined Evie wearing it.
But the more I shopped, the more I noticed how difficult it could be to find the right balance.
Some pieces looked beautiful but fell short on practical details, such as protection from the rain or warmth on colder days. Others offered useful features but seemed stiff, bulky, or uncomfortable to wear. The options that brought more of those qualities together often came with a price that was difficult to justify.
I wanted something quite simple: clothing that looked good, felt comfortable, and made sense for life with a dog—at a price that felt fair.
A familiar question, and a new beginning
Every time I looked at another piece for Evie, I found myself asking the same questions. Would it allow comfortable movement? Would its features be useful on an ordinary walk? Was the quality worth the price?
I began to wonder how many other dog parents were asking those questions too.
That was the beginning of Pawevie: a decision to open a dogwear store with the care I brought to choosing things for Evie. A place for people who love dressing their dogs, but also want to feel confident about what they are buying.
If we wouldn’t choose it for our own dog, we wouldn’t want it for yours.
What matters to us
At Pawevie, appearance is part of the decision, but it is never the whole story. We consider comfort, fit, materials, construction, and whether a piece’s practical details suit its intended use.
A lightweight layer and a cold-weather coat have different jobs to do. We want our selection to reflect those differences, so you can choose for your dog’s needs rather than looks alone.
Price matters, too. Our aim is to offer thoughtful dogwear at fair prices, with value grounded in the quality and usefulness of the piece. Caring deeply for a dog should not mean feeling that the most expensive option is the only good one.
Why we take our time
You may notice that new arrivals at Pawevie come slowly. That is a choice we are comfortable making.
We would rather take time to consider each addition than fill the store simply to have something new. Our team takes responsibility for what we choose to offer, paying attention to the details that can make a difference in everyday wear.
For us, a smaller, carefully considered collection is a better place to begin. As Pawevie grows, we want that sense of care to remain.

Pawevie began with one dog, but the feeling behind it is something many of us share. We want our dogs to be comfortable. We want the things we buy for them to be useful. And we want to know that someone has thought about the details with the same care we would.
